A God..................all religion
A God..................one religion
with all the religions, including the many offshoots of Christianity, you would think there would be thousands of gods.
But, we know that there is one God so we should have one religion.

Why do you think it's important to call out for God with your last breath? Do you believe that he would want you to do this? You do seem a little sad that people are saying that they would be focusing on their life and their family in their dying minutes rather than looking forward to seeing God.

I'm not really sure I understand where your coming from. I'm not trying to be nasty or anything, I'm just wondering why you asked the question in the first place and why you feel that people don't believe in God, just because his name would not be the last thing to go through their minds as they were dying.

Don't get too upset with some of the answers to your question, I think a lot of people don't actually write the truth a lot of the time and although they might have dismissed your question out of hand, I bet you got a few people thinking!

To be perfectly honest, I do not believe in any one religion. I find errors, and imperfections in each on...Obviously, I know nothing is perfect. But, to tell you the truth religion isn't a part of my life. I have an eclectic version of beliefs from each religion. I believe in God, and karma, and things like that. I look at a sunset, or hear birds chirping and know there is a God..Who is he/she..no idea..just firmly believe there is one. I believe in past lives, you can't really evolve in one lifetime...at least I don't believe you can.
So, I believe in God. Just not the rest of the stuff religons try to force on you.

I am Agnostic. This is purely because I need to have proof of something before I can believe in it!. I am not saying people's beliefs and religions are wrong, in fact I find religion a fascinating subject and a few religions other than the one I was brought up with (Christianity) make a lot more sense to me than my own. Personally however I have yet to find a church or Minister who can make me believe that there is one true God who is responsible for everything in the Universe. My faith to me is believing in what I can see, feel & touch and that is my love for my family, friends etc.

This makes me think too? I read somewhere
that a fair number of Church priests no longer believe in a God, although mostly do not admit to that. I myself wonder if there is really a God who "loves" us and who we must "love", as we are taught, then where was he when those terrible child murders took place at Lakenheath, where was HE when the scum who murdered so many innocent people on 9/11 in USA or in the 7th July 2005 in London did their evil and said they were doing it in the name of God! Why did he stand back and allow these terrible things to happen without doing something? Where was He when......(I'm sure you can think of very many thousand other such examples). He does appear at very least to have gone AWOL if He did indeed ever exist?

I was brought up catholic and I do believe in God however I do not practise my religion - I just live my life the best way I can and treat people how I want to be treated. I find that most religions can be contradicting and hypocritical so I'd rather not bother

No I have not. I have no reason to. All religions were made by man. Man is not infallable, God is perfect. I follow a religion because it's the best I can do. I certainly fall short otherwise. I might as well do what 'The Rock' (Peter) started as a legacy.

After serving God for 37 yrs. I have never lost faith in God, in fact my faith is stronger. Because I see where I was at one time & where I am now, & the many test & trials he brought me through.

I don't follow any organised religion, I have my own belief's,and yes I do believe in one God, and it works for me, I don't have to explain or prove or look for evidence for anyone or anybody, I never try to push or promote my belief's on anyone as a matter of fact nobody knows what I believe, because its got nothing to do with anybody else.Yes there is a God.
Grammers not the issue.

I am a Christian, I believe in God, but what I have is a bit more than a "religion." Jesus says you must be born again, which is something spiritual, as opposed to a religious work.
God bless

there still is religion and there always will be just christianity and stuff are just recently been threaten beacause of a lot of scientific discoveries and stuff, I've been a athiest for years, I just don't feel I should wast my life worshiping someone that I feel don't exist I'm not the only one either, and if there is one I'm sure he or she or it or whatever it is would forgive me, because I know if I was a god I wouldn't want billions of people praying and agravating me all day
