I mixed up the date and messed up my Doctor's appointment. Has anyone else done something brilliant like this?

I work the third shift so my days are always off by one either way! Last week I thought that it was Thursday when it was really Wednesday! My classes on M/W/F are at 9 AM, and Tue/Thu at 9:30. I stayed on P & S until it would've been time for me to leave for school if it would have been Thursday! So I was 15 minutes late to class! Oops!

Embarrassingly, yes. I rushed to get to class and sat at the back since I didn't want to be told off for being late. I got to sit near a schoolmate I liked. I smiled rather flirtishy. I was given a rather odd look though they did seemed flattered so they moved to the seat right next to mine. We didn't pay attention in class, of course.
After the lecture, when the professor had left, a different mentor came up to me and asked why I wasn't present for the review. It turned out that I was in "Wednesday mode" when it was still actually Tuesday.
