If you want to be tall, do what the Dutch people do. Dutch people are the tallest people on earth. Their diet includes a lot of dairy product and potatoes. If you don't want to be fat take low fat dairy products. Since you are 15, there is still time to grow. Exercises is good don't but don't do too much weight lifting. Have you seen the Olympic weight lifters? They are not tall.

Exercising and games that make you stretch help you grow in height. I personally benefited to the extent of 1 foot by playing basket ball. Running is equally beneficial.
Skipping on the other hand helps you in increasing your stamina and keeps you fit. It is amongst the few exercises that you can do in a very restricted area.
