Well there is a large demand here in Australia for cigarettes. However other places like Hong Kong and places in England and France have banned smoking in public places and they have a much larger population, thus the demand is higher. However smoking still proceeded to be banned despite the humongous population who were smoking everyday. A reason why Australia should not be smoke free is because it could boost our economy as the smoking industry is like one of the biggest TNCs. It could help further heighten our economy but our health will decrease.

do you mean not indoors or banned?

I don't support interdiction for any drug anywhere - it doesn't work, only increases damage for all, gets in the way of treatment, solutions.
Control, regulation works much better.

smoking indoors is whole different issue, because cigarette smoke is the most potent second-hand effect producer of any of the drugs, and one of the leading causes of death. no one should ever smoke indoors.
