Okay, i'm only 16 and don't have any ideas of having a child Any time soon BUT
I love children and have worked with them..i can't wait to have my own and look after them...
BUT i am extremely scared of the pain...when i'm giving birth, i'm so scared of my future pain while giving birth..SO, with the pain i shall experience..would this make me dislike the child?

I don't want to dislike my future child but would the pain make me go into a depression?

How do you cope with the pain?

Everybody has a different pain threshold. I am 30 and have 2 children, a 2yr old and a 4 week old. With my first daughter I thought labour was horrible, painfull, scary basically really bad. Well it can't have actually been that bad as I got pregnant again. If labour was too painfull people would only go through it once, if at all. With my 2nd daughter I had a home birth and had no pain relief at all.nothing. it was fantastic and I would still go through it all again. When you hold your baby for the first time its amazing and its said the love for your children is unconditional, I would go through any amount of pain for my girls and I think anyone with children would do the same. You cope with the pain because although it may really hurt its definitely worth it.

Ok, let's just take a step back for a second. Before you got on a bike for the first time weren't you scared of the pain if you fell off, or what if you couldn't ride it? Things that are unknown to us are always terrifying.

When you are ready to have a child (many years down the line) you'll be supported by your family, your partner and staff around you. Labour is only 1 day of your life but a child is yours for the rest of your life. It's a small price to pay! I myself had a 27 hour labour and was in pain I could not describe in words but now I have a happy healthy 4 year old and would not swap her for anything in the world!

The pain is bad but there are lots of pain killer available when your in hospital and although many mothers bang on about giving birth with no drugs they don't get a medal for doing so. Taking the help offered isn't a sign of weakness!

Straight after giving birth, the placenta is delivered and a hormone is released which helps you forget the pain of delivery.

Don't let the worry of giving birth put you have having kids in the future. You might have a pain free delivery (they do happen) or you might have a hard time, either way you geto ver the trauma of giving birth.

Its different with everyone, you might not have much pain,or you could have lots of pain, but focus on the beautiful thing you are bringing into this world.
Hating the baby for some time is normal, use the search engines to read more of what to expect.
To top it all, make sure you are happily married and have a good job before you bring a baby into this world, since babies come with a lot of expenses and your freedom is practically non-existent,all the best and God bless

you will love and care for it but wait till you are married have a house and career as children are very expensive and consider that you are always responsible for the child. your life will change, you cant go out when you want, that's not even thinking of the pain which, to me is unforgettable. consider the amount of nappies and formula you would buy per week - around 30.00?

I thought i was going to die giving birth to my daughter, but as soon as that baby is in your arms you blank out any pain and just feel pure love, theres nothing like it..........please wait a while and make sure you're all set up financially and in a stable loving relationship/marriage.
