Well if your parents let your government and county bash you, ridicule you and execute you wouldn't you ask them the same question after all Jesus was only human (in the corporal sense at least)!

Jesus was here in human form. He felt pain. He knows a lot about suffering and He asks us to endure it.
He was here an example for us and the teacher. He wanted to teach us how to have a life changing relationship with God.
Jesus had the whole world's sin on His shoulders. God did not forsake Him, it was just that the first time ever He did not feel the presence of God because that sin. Of course God did not forsake Him. Jesus is God, but when He was here, He was in human form. ( John 1:1...14)

Of course Jesus was in great pain. At that time He was dying on a cross, burdened by the sins of the world. His own heavenly Father had to turn His back on Him because God cannot look favorably on sin.
Jesus was all alone. Even His own disciples were scared and ran and hid. His only comfort was a few women crying over Him, and one disciple, John.

He was praying the psalm. The Hebrews that were standing around Him all knew scripture and saw that He wasn't crying out to His Father but merely reciting a last prayer. The gospel didn't write out the entire prayer, it just wrote out the first sentence to tell us that He was beginning to pray.

The meaning is " My God, My God, why hast Thou forsaken me"...
Forsaken - abandon, give up...
He was in pain, and in Christianity, He took all the sins and pain of His follower with Him.

God is Jesus' Father, Jesus is God's Son.
It is not too clear what it is that you want to know.

Because it made for a better story.
Remember, this stuff was written decades after Jesus died, if he existed at all. We really know nothing about Jesus, including whether he really existed.
