That doesn't pertain to all Mormons. That is about a fundamentalist sect within the Mormon religion, they are a very small group, in relation to the church as a whole. In thier group, they arrange marriages. They have numerous wives. There was a documentary, I think it was either on A&E or the Discover channel about them, they're pretty bizarre. Women don't marry for love in this group, they are made to marry who is chosen for them, and raped or beaten, or both for non compliance. They do this to girls as young as 12 or so. This group has somehow miraculously gotten away with flaunting the law for a long time. Once in awhile some poor teenage girl escapes, and looks for protection from them, this is how the story got out....The Mormon church as a whole is officially monogamist, and does not consider these people to be Mormons.

Actually, that DOESN'T pertain to Mormons, as members of the FLDS church aren't Mormons in the sense that it is typically used. This is about a small break away sect, not the LDS Church which is reaching 13 mil world wide.

You know he is NOT a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints right??? He isn't nor has ever been, if he were he would be excommunicated. He is the leader of the Fundamentalist LDS church, an off-shoot, not the real LDS church. Just know that, thanks.
