Every fridge I have seen has an light inside.

But I have never seen a freezer with one. Do they exist, or is there a technical reason for not putting a light in the freezer?

I don't know, but that is a good question, I think it's because people don't usually go into freezers in the middle of the night, they go into refrigerators for quick snacks or something to drink

If it's a top or bottom freezer, probably because the space is so small the light is not needed to find something. You'd notice that side-by-side freezers do have lights, lots more spaces for stuff to get lost in.

Big chest freezers often have lights, but smaller box ones tend not to. I suppose that it's a matter of space or something
