The Taxpayer Advocate Service is an IRS program that provides an independent system to assure that tax problems, which have not been resolved through normal channels, are promptly and fairly handled. The National Taxpayer Advocate, Nina Olson, heads the program. Each state and campus has at least one local Taxpayer Advocate, who is independent of the local IRS office and reports directly to the National Taxpayer Advocate. The goals of the Taxpayer Advocate Service are to protect individual and business taxpayer rights and to reduce taxpayer burden. The Taxpayer Advocate independently represents your interests and concerns within the IRS. This is accomplished in two ways:

Ensuring that taxpayer problems which have not been resolved through normal channels, are promptly and fairly handled;
Identifying issues that increase burden or create problems for taxpayers: Bringing those issues to the attention of IRS management and making legislative proposals where necessary.

Tax Advocate is a group that is not lawyers they are a part of the IRS that does not get paid to help you.Say you need some help on your taxes but can not afford to hire someone they are there for you.
But a warning all the tax people out there who claim to settle pennies on the dollar don't waste your money JK Harris took 5,000.00 from us and never solved a thing for us in 2 years so that made the IRS even madder till we talked to them and they warned us about not using those folks.

what 365 days is the return for. TAS can't do something yet touch the branch that strategies return and ask them what the postpone is? Are you specific the Injured companion style became won and being processed. IRS takes 6-12 weeks from the date they get carry of the return to technique the return, to any extent further then they should touch you thru sending you a letter. in spite of if it heavily relies upon on what tax return you filed and who request the return to be filed in spite of if it is from past 365 days. that is unusual that your rebate might of been issued if your return has no longer been processed, because of the fact without your return being technique IRS has no way of understanding in case you owe or getting a reimbursement, and the stimulus is to be held till the return is completely processed. I heavily think of something is misguided with your return and being reviewed yet has been processed. did you declare any dependents on your return?
