My mother hangs blue plastic strips over her windows. It keeps all the birds away. She insists it has to be blue, but I think it is just the movement of the strips when the birds land that scares them off. Good luck.

They sell this "anti-bird" wire at Home Depot or Lowes. You put it on your sill and the birds can't land there.
