While there is a possibility of something benign turning cancerous, if the doctor says it is not cancerous, thats great. I would remain positive. Negativity can only worsen the matter. Positive thinking in people who are ill is a very important factor in recovery.

I am not really sure of what your asking.
But if you have been tested for cancer and the results are not positive you may need additional testing, because it possible to have cancer.
I had a tumor that appeared to be cancerous when I had a CAT scan. Then I had a MRI and finally a biopsy. The biopsy did not find cancer, although the other tests did. As a result of all the test and having other problems with my liver I had a transplant and that was over 3 years ago.
I don't know where you cancer might be, so I can't rally help you.
