Okay. I have been gettin these bumps around the middle of my arm (where u bend ur arm) and i dont get them anywhere else on my body. I used hydracortizone cream and it helped alot by taking the bumps away. Also it seems I cant wear any purfume or body sprays because it makes the bumps come back. Is this and alergic reaction or somethisng else? Should I go see a doctor?

yea it sounds like a reaction to something, especially if hydrocortizone relieves bumps or itching (use tiny amount though) yes it can be in just 1 spot (skin might be dry there or rub somethin to cause the reaction), beside perfumes, it can be sweat or soap & detergent so try some like Aveeno, Dove or more natural products, i have sensitive skin & get hives or itchy from stuff, doing these things help me-- use normal body lotion without fragrance or things that might irritate skin, u can use perfume but don't use cheaper drug store brands (they have alot of alchohol and fake ingredients for smell that affects skin too) use body spray or good quality perfumes and only spray on clothes not skin- a little talc free powder like vagasil with corn starch absorbs moisture which can help

This sounds like a reaction to some chemical that your skin has come into contact with.

Intolerant reactions to chemicals are quite common, full blown allergies are less common.

Think about what your skin has been in contact with.. maybe perfume, laundry detergent, de-odourant, a plant?

It may be wise to see a doctor who specialises in allergies to have the irritant named and dealt with.

I found out, after many years, that i was allergic to polyester, which is in much of the clothing that we wear.

regards

Peter

Sounds like it is a reaction to something, perhaps the perfumes or sprays that you are using. I would probably try not wearing any of the perfume or sprays for awhile and see if that helps. If not, see your doctor.

I think you have already diagnosed yourself...DON'T USE THE BODY SPRAYS OR PERFUME IN THAT AREA!! Geeze...

Try just applying the sprays to your clothing; if that doesn't work...forget about the sprays. You have an allergy. Godloveya.

it sounds a bit like eczema

this can play up with allergies, heat, wearing clothing that irritates it further and sometime stress too.

Try ditching your normal soap and use a tar based soap and make sure you dry really well after a shower.

Of course your dr will give you much more accurate advice.
