I am not a teenager and haven't been for some time now. If my sons were to see this question they would surely tell you that when I went to pick them up from a party or disco etc I usually wore my dressing gown over my pyjamas as I didn't usually need to get out of the car. On one occasion though a young girl fainted in the street outside the disco and being a first aider I went to her aid. She was eventually OK and her father arrived to take her home, turned out she was pregnant and only 16. I was out of the car for about 20 minutes and all of my son's friends had seen me and never let my son forget it. They have never let me forget it either.

Am killinh myself laughing at these! When my hubby (at the time was my bf) dropped me off really late (or should that be early?!) one night, we sat snogging in the car for a bit. Suddenly got a massive shock when there was banging on the window and heres my Dad in his boxers and t shirt yelling at me for having (and I quote) 'the morals of an alley cat'.....classic! Luckily he now loves hubby as one of the family but the memory is still cringe worthy!!xx PS you have to tell us yours!xx

When I was going out with my now husband when he walked me home we used to stand at the side of the house for a bit of a snog. My dad would continually come to the door and rattle the milk bottles. One evening he actually put a big alarm clock out, unknown to us and after a few minutes it went off and lights went on round about, I could have brained him. Now years later I have to admit it was quite funny.

Parents always seem really embarassing when you are a teenager... you think everyone is looking but actually no one is even interested...
My dad used to 'jive-walk' round the supermarket to wind me up... That was pretty excruciating at the time - now I'd probably just laugh and join in....

I had a biker boyfriend long ago in the 70s, and he would leave me home and we'd snog at the front door. One night my dad opened the door in his pyjamas , all 5'4" of him and shouted at my six-footer boyfriend
"have you no respect for my daughter? you are making a holy show of her here in front of the neighbours!"
Six footer got all embarrassed, mumbled his apologies; and fled!
And after that he broke it off with me, saying " I don't want your old man down my neck for doing what comes naturally!"

When I was a teenager my dad saw me coming home from college, he leaned out of his car window and shouted to me so he could give him a lift. Apparently I kept ignoring him so he shouted louder and louder 'GET IN THE CAR!' When 'I' turned round it wasn't me, just a very confused girl who looked like me wondering why this man was curbcrawling her!
