I've seen that "beautiful muslim" something girl post the same thing a billion times, so now I'm wondering if they're doing anything MORE than speaking out against it.

I know, but I'm just wondering if the organizations condemning terrorism are taking any action.

to Jay_D something:
You're an idiot, for
a) Thinking that all Muslims are terrorists.
and
b) For not properly answering the question.

My Fuhrer, I can provide you pages and pages of peaceful verses in the Qu'ran and how the terrorists are contradicting Allah's words.
But,
1> Would they listen?
2> Could you do it?
If I gave you the verses, would you do it? Or will you fear for your life?
My Fuhrer, these muslims have families and loved ones, they fear for their lives, the terrorists murders other muslims as well.
Edit: They attacked the cartoonist and Salman Rushdie, didn't they? Most of them are power hungry and their actions contradict with the Qu'ran nowdays anyway. It's hard to admit but it's a fact.

I'm a 15 year old girl, trying my best to pass 9th grade with good marks..the least i could do is give my views and sometimes quote certain people and type the verses from the Qur'an..and the most i could do is practise what i preach which i'm still in the process of perfecting..i wish i could do more, but i'm human, an do fear for my life, although i hope that whenever i'm faced with a situation, where i'll have to choose between personal safety and something else like God or the truth etc. that i'll be able to muster up all my courage to make the right choice and face things boldly.when the time is right and when i have enough resources for doing so, i hope to be able to educate people about islam, about peace, about the importance of patience, forgiveness etc.many of these postings are not only for speaking out against the terrorists but also to convince a lot of the people out there that we too are peace-loving human beings which is why we have to post it like a billion times....

What do you want us to do , go to the UN? You fail to understand something of vital importance here. Muslims are not treated the same as others in this country. Civil rights era ring a bell?? In essence that is what it feels like. My lawn has been trashed and my car vandalized all because of the way I dress and for what I believe. This doesn't happen to all Muslims - just giving you my personal situation. Really makes me wanna go out and attract my attention to myself ya know?!
Secondly, Muslims are watched a lot more carefully. It's called profiling. Things that are ordinary for most people cannot be said or done by us. We cannot have detailed conversations about situations over the phone or even in letters to back home where our husbands (or wives) come from. Not unless we want the FBI knocking on our doors wondering what's going on. Sounds stupid but it really does happen. I never in a million years would have thought this would be me. Since becoming a Muslim in 1992 I've faced more challenges than I ever imagined. And that in no way deters me from practicing my religion and believing what I believe.

I know! Every now and then (after Western pressure) a Muslim leader will stand up and say: "Uh.... yeah, um... Osama is.... a naughty man, and uh, terrorism is... not nice. OH! Yeah, almost forgot, we're the religion of peace, praise Allah", then sit down and that's all you'll hear from them.
Then in the streets they celebrate thier peacefulness with a couple beheadings, some laid-back flag burning and maybe the odd AK-47 fired into the air.

Taking an action against terrorism is not easy so that some users on R&S can Do it.. the UN itself still condemning and didn't take any action. What do you suggest?

The overwhelming majority of people putting their lives on the line to fight Islamist terrorism are themselves Muslim. In Iraq, Afghanistan, Southeast Asia, and many other places.
While I don't dispute the need for Western Muslims to be more forthright and courageous in their condemnation of their extremist co-religionists, it is unhelpful to lump the vast majority in with their idiot-bretheren. They need, and deserve, our support.

Live with real musilims, you'll find out they're nothing of what the media makes them out to be. I'm speaking out of experience. Sure, there are bad muslims, but they're not bad just because they're MUSLIMS... they just happen to be stupid. Nothing to do with the rules of their religion.

As if the media would cover any of what Muslims do.
The only thing that is covered is the bad side, not the good side.
Peace.
