We broke up and it's been almost 4 months and we haven't talked. She refuses to talk to me but she was the one who broke it off. I did everything she asked. I was good to her. Three weeks ago she was telling people in chat she got back with her x of 16 years and then when asked she was single. Now, she's claiming to be dating a cop and they have been together a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnng time. How's that so when we broke up 4 Months ago and she was claiming to be with this one and that one? Then claiming to be single? Someone in chat asked her where she was the night before and she said "WE went out driving all night, stayed over and had fun". The only thing that isn't flying with me is, she was never open about her relationships it was always private, never told anyone she was dating or anything, didn't want them knowing her business, all of a sudden she does? I think she wants it to get back to me. What should I think? Does she really have a replacement or is she blowing smoke?

She's lied in the past about having someone when we broke up before. I believe she's really a lonely old woman who has no life and is just trying to get the word out she's with this one and that one to piss me off.

The more important question you should be asking is, why do you care what she's saying about herself?
Let the girl go. She's obviously immature and ill suited for you. I can tell you still have unresolved feelings for the girl, but they'll go away in time. Just cut her out of your life and realize you deserve better than a girl who plays such silly games with people.

Even if she's blowing smoke, why would you even care? Just be thankful that she did you a favor and went her own way. If she is dating someone else, she's got big problems and you are playing right into her game. Whatever she's doing, the next man will find out she's shady woman and leave her as well.Stop trying to call her and be glad she's not calling you. either way you look at her, she's a big liar and is need of help, far beyond what you can give her. 4 months is nothing, compared to years most people spend with a psychopath.

You know she's lying for attention. If it wasn't so pathetic it would be hilarious! So don't get yourself too worked up about it. You already know her game plan and it doesn't hold up let alone make any sense. Not only is she blowing smoke from what ever she is puffing on, but she's completely lost in the cloud that she has created. The only replacement she's likely to have is three speed and runs on batteries. Idle time in the chat room with a rampant imagination bucking to be a hack writer.

She's saying this stuff cause she is a desperate lonely loser who wants you to think she is amazing. Let her live in her fantasy world while you stay here in the real world. Don't even pay attention to anything she has to say. This will drive her crazy although she seems like she is there already. Move on and find a girl that doesn't need to make up things to show how great she is. Good luck

She's lying and it sounds as if she is vindictive towards you.
If she gets in a chat room, a person can say anything. It's the Internet. I wouldn't pay much attention to it because she is in a make believe world and trying to make her look as the "good person".

ur prob right. shes doing this just to get a rise out of you, ignore it and move on. KILL EM WITH KINDNESS! send her a email and say i just wanted to with you a happy future with ur new bf. shell b more pissed that ur nice about it then getting agrivated and flipping out on her.

oh! forget her, you do deserve to be with someone who cares about you and really really likes you, i guess you don not need to feel pity for people, i bet they will find their way not to be lonely, have your life and forget all baout her and your relationship and her damn past.

i think u just answered your own question my dear friend, people do weird things when they are lonely they spin this web of lies which acts like a buffer when they are hurt.
