Have you had a deep tissue massage in the neck? This is acupressure and would help relieve the pain better than an ordinary massage. I strongly recommend you see a chiropractor as they are specialists in neck pain. Also they could refer you to an acupressure therapist. I've enclosed a link where you can find a chiropractor in your area in the USA.

You may very well have a vertebrae out of position and pinching a nerve.

But massage the muscles in the neck, shoulders and down the sides of the spine in the back.

A cream like aspircream or icy hot or mineral ice will help.

Try an ice pack on the muscles or a heating pad. Which ever works best.

The sole of your feet is the best place to do a complete massage of your body.

Chinese believe regular foot reflexology helps to heal the entire body. As different parts of the foot indicates differernt points of your body.

For example, the big toe is your brain, the joint of your big toe is your neck, your other smaller toes are your eyes, center of your foot is your stomach and etc.

So by massaging your foot, you are giving yourself an entire body massage. And by doing so regularly it help heels some cronic problem like urinary tract infection and stroke.

Check out this site for more reflexalogy info.

Try Reflexology. It is massaging of the feet that relaxes the entire body even more than a traditional massage

Upper back/neck... that not only relaxes me, but gets me, but after awhile, I start to get all hot ;-)

Lower back works well if you're wanting to make someone sleep easier.
