Or can anyone help with a nice modern english name.

Everyone is saying berk would be slagged as jerk however berk is very modern turkish name but can also be berke

I like Daniel Bourke...that way you've modernized it whilst still keeping the turkish origins

My brothers middle name is kyriacos...he has never been insulted for it as far as i know... if, as he grows older he is teased about it, he can simply stop mentioning it until he other children get over it. I will admit children can be cruel.

Is Aslan/Berk(e) the middle or last name? I like the name Aslan - reminds me of Asland - the lion in "the lion, the witch and the wardrobe" - a nice strong name :)

Daniel Aslan sounds gud....u can use pet form of Daniel as Dani also.Daquan is also a popular english name.you can also try on Deryck.All the best!
