people just need to move at their own speed. i wouldn't worry about it. if he is comfortable with his life the way it is, then you should let him be...trust me, when the right person comes along, he will do something about it :)

Some may not agree with this but if it was me at 29 and still not even kissed a girl i think i'd go hire an hooker.

He really needs to join the dating scene and there must be someone you or the rest of your friends know who he'd get on with, even if he just has a few platonic dates just to give him a gentle introduction to how things go.

You can help him by not feeling sorry for him. You say he thinks he is right and everyone else is wrong--about what? If he is alone by choice, you should try to accept his right to live how he wants and make his own decisions about dating. You could introduce him to people and set him up on dates, but it seems he is either waiting for the right person or just isn't interested. If he is happy being by himself, more power to him!

Well theres a reason he hasnt had a gf and hes 29! Hes stubborn and rude like you said. If he hasnt learned now he never will, unless your madly in love, leave.

He is anal. The only way for him to get a girl and for him to get laid to ease off being so anal, is that he has to do the work.

Men who has never been laid is pretty much deprived and not experience love. He needs to turn his life around or he'll be like what people are suggesting... the 40 year old virgin.

Leave him be, if he's happy then thats fine. You cant force the poor guy to go out with someone just because you say so.

its a bit odd but its his choice

I salute you as his friend.

I hope you have already spoken and convey your opinions to your friend about his problem.
After you have done ya part... the rest is up to him to see light.
If he stubbornly refuses to change (as leopard never changes it's sports) why would you wanna help someone who doesn't even has the zeal to further himself for the better!?

I do not pity such people.

There is most likely nothing you can do to help.

Some people are just dealt a crap hand.

Even if others are too "polite" (read: dishonest) to tell them that they are going to live and die alone they know it themselves.

Just leave him be.

Try to find a girl he might like and get along with.

At age of 29 never had a g/f and have never kissed?!. That is sad. If you call yourself a friend, you will convince him to perform the Harakiri!.
