for many reasons. lots of times they miss the person they were with and realize that they were wrong. also, they sometimes come back because they haven't anyone special since, or they are scared of getting back into the whole dating game, and they like the familiarity of the previous relationship - they may not want that person back, just the feeling of being in a familiar place. they may also come back to use the old partner...they want some action and they know exactly what they are getting. everyone is different so you can't really give one specific answer on this.

They remember the good times and realize the bad times weren't so bad. And loneliness can be a factor.

IT IS AS SIMPLE AS THEY DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY WANT TIL IT'S GONE, AND THEY WANT WHAT THEY CAN'T HAVE. THEY SEE YOU MOVING ON WITH YOUR LIFE AND ARE EITHER JELOUS, OR FEEL LEFT BEHIND. IT'S NORMAL, BUT BE WEARY, BECAUSE, IT DOES NOT MEAN THAT THEY ACTUALLY LOVE YOU (I LEARNED THAT ONE THE HARD WAY)
