I think I'm having hypotension ( low blood pressure and descreased heart rate) for about a week now. yesterday I almost blacked out at work. Additionally I'm having a lot of cough, stiff neck, headache etc that the doctor says are symptoms of this. He gave me some vitamins and asked me to rest. What should I do ( eat, excercise) etc to recover as quick as possible?

Hypotension is the opposite of hypertension, actually.

Well, he could have given you sugar pills to make you feel better mentally because that is all they are good for. As for vitamins...well, it never hurts to have a few extras if you are physically active.

As for "hypertension"...no one "thinks" they have it...! You either have it or you don't. As you have been examined by a doctor already and he prescribed vitamins and rest then it is obvious you don't have hypertension as those are not the prescribed medications for it.

I truly doubt a doctor to say these are symtoms of hypertension as they certainly are not. These symptoms can be for several other problems, most certainly, and be caused by excessive masturbation as a minimal consideration or by a bursa on the brain as a more considerable and dangerous condition.

Your "almost blacking out" may be no more than dizziness and this can be caused by simply an incorrect movement of the head and neck or rising from a low position too quickly.

If indeed, you have really seen a doctor then I suggest you see a different one

Meanwhile, it's good that you remain aware of changes about yourself but there is no need to worry or panic when realizing change. If change appears drastic and constant then yes, see a doctor for proper understanding.

You THINK you have hypotension? Well, didn't the doctor measure your pressure and tell you the numbers? And the cough is not a symptom of hypotension. Anyway, you should drink a lot of fluid (water is the best, not Coke or something cause it's a diuretic and it'll lower your pressure even more). Also when you feel really bad you can eat something salty. Salt brings pressure up but don't overdo it.
