Yes, I do. It poses major questions when people who are smuggling drugs into the US (where US border control agents are sent to prison) happen to be related to the very person who happens to be the PRESIDENT of a program to take over major port operations from another country....one that his relative happens to be from?

Yes, the KC Smartport is unconstitutional in the biggest way possible.

It's kind of a grey area but 1. Kansas city probably has Government consent and 2. The mexican city is not "a foreign power" since it's not the Mexican federal governement. So likely this could not be overturned on constitutional grounds.

Agreements are made between cities all the time... They do not come up to the level of treaty, alliance or confederation. It looks like KC just offered to be a truck dock at the northern end and Lázaro Cárdenas at the southern end. The treaty was made at the national level among Mexico, Canada and the USA. This city to city agreement would fall under the NAFTA treaty.
