How do you feel that in a couple of weeks the Mexican border will be swung wide open to 50,000 semi trucks and their drivers with no possible way of documenting them all? There goes the trucking industry too. They will not stop till they've tapped every resource we have here and will break the US.

My husband, a trucker, says that they don't even do their logs the same (more changing laws for them). Where does it end?

The reasons we cannot be more generous to other people of the world is we have to live. Hell, I have to work. I'm good at construction work for instance, but go to your job site and apply for a job. I always get the "over-qualified" bullsh*t and always get the same things about having to take a lower wage and not receive any medical insurance for my family. Insurance is not a big problem but wages are. I have to afford a place to live. I don't have 13 other cats from my homeland come to live with me and pay bills. I can sum up why American's are not generous to those like the Mexicans with an exert from a Skynard song.

"When you take my money from me, you take food from my momma's table."

The American truckers are organizing a boycott to protest this attack on their future by Bush and other criminals. Read
"TRUCKERS BOYCOTT BORDER STATES" by Frosty Wooldridge, March 26, 2007 http://www.NewsWithViews.com

Bush’s action mandates American truckers’ jobs vanishing with a new version of: “Mexican drivers do the jobs that American truckers won’t do.”

We invite our truckers to participate in a national "Truck Out"
Boycott, on the 23-25 of April, to coincide with the http://www.FairUS.org rally planned in Washington DC, the “Put Their Feet to the Fire Press Conference Rally.”

Please join the "Truck Out" and e-mail inamericasince1700@ yahoo.com
for more information. A phone number is being set up and will be posted on the new web site: http://www.SaveAmericaFund.com and http://www.SaveAmerica.com.

it wont end till the american people stand up and say enough. the Mexican people are a very taking people. and no i am not racist i am of mexican heritage and live right on the border. but in my experiences they dont care what you have given them they will only see what they dont have and will do what they have to to get that too. let them come and work and before you know it they will be pushing for citizenship, or just all the rights of citizenship with out having to give america their full allegance. and on top of that you'll never see them with an american flag but you can bet you'll see that red white and green thing that mexico has. if you let them take our trucking jobs and our farm jobs you can bet you'll see them take over other industries until we've had enough and by that time we'll never be able to recover what we've lost and anybody who opposes them will be called a racist and ignorant.

Zoe posted an article that says that is being held up pending further investigation. It was just yesterday, if you want to look for it.

Earlier this year one of those 'trusted trade partners' who supposedly have 'earned' fast pass ability to go through our borders was caught smuggling in a 'spot check'. There is a lot of money in what people want to smuggle across our borders, and I think that would become rampant with this plan, frankly.

It is so damm funny how people are reacting to all this nonsense crap...
I mean... look at all the immigrants in this country.
If your working in an IT company look at how many Indian people are working in that company.

Business people don't really care... as long as your cheap and can do the job done.
...some business don't even care if their personnel is legal or not. hey.. less the company has to spend, more the profit.
It's been like that.. forever.

I mean.. if people are so afraid of immigrants taking over US jobs... why take immigrants?

Be like the old Japan.
When foriegn people arive, send them back.

my heart sank as a read your question. And to those who keep saying that the Americans should be "generous", "kind", "open" to our neighbors from the southern border, the fact is:
We have been for too long!!! Can you name another country in this world that has given as much:

free public services(that it's citizens paid taxes for) to more than 12 million who came in illegally/ lax policies for those who Broke the immigration laws/ room and space for the criminals who killed more than 45 thousand American citizens since 9/11 to have it easy after the committed the crime
as the U.S. has?
And to those who keep bringing in what happened in the past to justify what's going on right now, I hope you don't whimper when your rose- colored glasses broke as you and the rest of the U.S. citizen fall into a hell of poverty and oppression and misery.

I think that it's unfair that the rules that our truckers follow won't apply to the immigrants. I think that if they're going to be driving truck in our country that they should at least have to adhear to the same rules as we do.

I believe they only want our Freedom not just our jobs. I'd like to see if we could get a job over there for a fair wage when they "open the gate". I say be true to your own country. We're not getting ourselves killed to escape to another land. America is too free with their freedom. I say close the borders to all incoming & outgoing.
