I'm going to Gran Canaria in late July this year, and am trying to find out a realistic average temparature...would be really grateful if you could help me. thanks in advance.

Hot !!!! I've been in April and it was about 90 degrees then. It can be alittle windy, but that can be a blessing at times !!
Gran Canaria has good weather all year round

You'll have great weather for sure. They always have over there. Over 30* C for sure.
