I need to know how a person can find out what someone elses charges are without calling the specific jail to find out. Because most jails wont disclose this info if your not family.

Call the County Court Clerk's Office. It is a matter of public record and they will print a list of all crimes/ charges/ incarcerations past and present. They may charge a fee, but they DO have to provide the info...

I guess that depends on the state, where i live thats public information, you can call and also check online if the county has a website.
the only information provided though is name and charges, no other personal data or specifics of the crime. After all the public has a right to know who is in their community and for what, at aleast i do.

There is a simple way. Just look in the local paper where the arrest was made. The local arrests are always published in the paper but you may have to look at several days worth. Go to the library to see them all.

Hi, ite depends what county and state you live in, here where I live in Cali you can check online at the sheriffs page........you might try to look it up on the internet, maybe the county were he/she was arrested has the same system.......and it also depends if he/she is in county jail or federal.......good luck :).........If I were you I would just call and ask, you don't loose anything, if they say they can't provide any info just say thanks and hang up.......

the only ones that i can come up with, is their family. you can't go anywhere else. i got a brother-in-law who's in,and through his family is how i know.
