This is in relation to the new bulbs which contain xenon gas - there can be single filament (where a shutter switches between high & low beam) of dual filament (where there are effectively 2 bulbs.... I'm looking to purchase some of these new bulbs, cheers

The descriptions you are referring to are for lamps with a single reflector each side for high and low beam. Some cars (e.g Lamborghini Gallardo) use a movable shutter, while others (e.g. Ford Fiesta) use a twin-filament bulb.

Your car has two reflectors each side - effectively you have an outer pair of (single filament) low beam lamps, and another inner pair of (single filament) high beam lamps.
