I went to get a cleaning, and they said I had a few cavities, but didnt give me a number. Since I have a "few", will they give me the "laughing gas" or do more than one visit? And the needle anesthetic is painful, so what is this I hear about a Laser they use to get rid of the cavity so I dont need a shot?

I got rid of four cavities - using ToothSoap

it does not have glycerin like toothpaste, which puts a barrier up around your teeth so they cannot re-enamel

knew about my cavities in Oct 2005 - (4 @ $185 each) was going to wait until I got my new job and got dental there - then found ToothSoap and began using it in May 2006 - finally got an appointment in Jan 2007 - and they told me - NO CAVITIES!!!!!!!!! at the assesment - when I got my teeth cleaned - I reasked - what about my cavities - no sir - you DONT have any!

that $20 jar of shreads is supposed to last 2 people 3 months
I am using mine by myself - and I still have 1/3 left today

and I do not work for the company - best of luck!

Schedule a review of findings with your dentist.
Your dentist should go over each of the areas that require treatment with you.
You don't sound like you have enough information to make any type of decision.
If your dentist has a problem with this, then get a second opinion.
Not many dentists have a laser in their office since they are only used on your "back" teeth, and the conditions have to be right for it's use.
If the needle is the only problem that you have, just get the nitrous oxide for that part of the appointment, since you won't need it after you're numb. (You still have to get numb when you get nitrous.) And, there's an extra fee for nitrous-sometimes by the half hour.
Ask those questions!

hey you can have the happy gas no problems and you can also do to appointments
i do not think the laser treatment is good they still have to give you needles and theres a % that it might not work
stick to the old way the needles are getting better as for the numb gel before the needle
