Drop that degree education hang-up you appear to have, you got were you are because of what you have proved you can do. Think it was Napoleon who said "be glad you are criticised it shows you are growing", though ego might be at work here causing you to appear arrogant and have you heard of the inverted ego? It can let you think others are better than you. Be glad we have different strengths and weaknesses, try to embrace this it might help with the people skills

Not at all, knowledge is never to be feared, only embraced and used positively.
As long as your persona is not one of snooty arrogance, I see no problems. After all, a degree doesn't mean much, just means the holder has a more specific knowledge, in terms of doing a job the process will still involve a learning curve when applied to a company environment.

Since you never answered what your job is I am at a loss? For example if your job is to educate someone on "Time Management" you might be qualified to teach on that skill. We have degree's in our fields of study, but we do not mean that we are expert's in all areas. NO One is too old or over educated that they cannot learn something new.

The very way you ask your questions suggests that people might loathe the chip on your shoulder. We, the educated people of the world, have often worked hard for our knowledge. If you were sharing your skills in a co-operative manner and not in a competitive one, perhaps you wouldn't feel so threatened. Get a grip and quit worrying about it.

Well if they were right surely they would have nothing to be scared about, so if they are scared of you they know they are doing somthing wrong somewhere along the line, even the most intelligent people can be wrong its just they wont addmit it because they get too big for their boots, so you go ahead n bring em down a peg or 2. we all need 2 learn new things now and again.

A lot of teachers value their students in the ability to correct them at times, so even go so far as to test their students by purposely teaching wrong things and see if that can be pointed out. Others just dislike it because of the age factor, and the fact that you are challenging their authority.
There shouldn't be any reason to be scared of you, I would say praised would be the better word if you catch them at their own game.

You have a job to do, it does not matter if your loathed. If degree holders were doing their job correctly then you wouldnt be there to educate them. Dont take it to heart, basically humans are a very insecure lot.

They are not scared of you. Any help will be welcome even to 'the educated'.
There is a saying that the 'educated' will know well - "The more you know, the more you know there is to know".
You probably have many skills that the degree holders could not learn in any university.

You don't expect to win friends but you do expect to influence people in either Quality Management or Management Consultancy. Over the years I've found developing a one person "good cop, bad cop" approach works best. The most you can hope for is respect, after inital resentment, when they find out you were right after all.

I know plenty of "dumb" people who have college degrees. Higher education doesn't make you intelligent or "smart." It just means that you had enough money to go to college.
Most of the smartest people I know barely graduated high school. Personally, I'd rather have a grain of common sense than a pound of book sense any day!
