Sweetie,odds are he is being truthful.Suggest that you two stay together throughout this time.Technology has come a long way,and you two can still keep in touch.Of course,you both will have to agree to it.Long distance relationships arent easy,but they can work if both are willing to put all they have into the relationship.This requires having alot of faith,trust,and security in your relationship.You two both need to sit down and talk about this,as it sounds as if you have trust issues.Your relationships is important,and you need to figure out a way for you two to be together.This really isnt that far out of the ordinary.There is a great big possibility that he will be making more money than he is at his job now,and in a year if he works consistantly he can put back quite a bit of money.Sit down and resolve your issues and then decide whether the long distance thing is right for you.It isnt impossible but you have to be willing to work towards it.Good luck hun,and have a good day!

it sounds to me that this boy wants to make some decent money, you never know, he might go then phone you or txt saying that he cant stay 4 the year as he misses you so much, and come back, either way its gonna give both of you some time to sit down and think what you really want, anyway imagine the holiday you would have going over there lovely,But if i was you i would just let him go the more you get on at him the more he'll want to go so just chill and see what happens, "whats 4 u wont go by u" good luck

Theres definetly something hes not telling you, hes either afraid to commit, or has something hes worried about you finding out about, do you know anything about his previous relationships?
did he loose someone he loved because hes running away from love if you ask me .Hes been hurt badly in his past i think.
