I just acquired two lovely Polish hens. One blue/white one black/white. My first of this particular breed. They are difficult to come by here, so it may be a while before I can add a rooster. I have heaps of various colour Silky boys though. I was wondering if anyone has crossed these two particular breeds and if so, what was the outcome? As in did they turn out to be pretty birds?

i have cross bred them. like other mixed they sometimes come out beautiful and then you get one that looks like a gimpy :) i stopped crossing them only because i didnt care for the temper tantrums... the males seem more aggressive than i wanted so i eventually gave them to neighbors who fattened them up and made lunch. the hens were ok as far as temper but they werent the best layers i have a couple still if you'd like to see pics let me know ill take some for ya :) good luck :)
