Is Islamic separatation of men and woman a grotesque imposition or necessary custom?

The evidence is clear. The separation of men and woman in society increases the proportion of man-on-man relations and creates a massive resovoir of pent up rage.

Its no coincidence that in the age of media and communications, the true face of Islam can be seen on tv everday, that is, the angry hatefilled raging Islamic mob screaming about...anything.

Who created this horrible and unnatural lifestyle? They couldn't have been normal men, that's for sure...

Growing up in a different culture u might think that other culture are funny.
Go to the Muslim people and ask them their thought will be antagonistic to u.
I dont want to use terms like "white man's burden",etc.

You are missing here a historic perspective. In Islam just as with Christianity when the basic rules were set down it was done with the perspective of the times. Islam and Christianity are offshoots of Judaism. These are tribes with rules that work for tribes. In the west it took a long time for secular power to establish itself over religious authority. Women in Switzerland finally got the vote in 1972! When Mohammad laid down the law they were nomads Bedouin folk roaming the deserts. The rules made sense. A little tail to make my point. I was travelling back in 1966 through the deserts in Jordan, four of us in a land rover two men two women. On of the ladies was a vehement feminist (the movement had just got into full swing). While driving through the Wadi Rum we came upon a caravan of Bedouins All the men on horse back (about 50 of them) camels and the women carrying stuff on foot. The feminist went in to a fit. "This is what I mean about men. Pigs. They should be doing the walking etc. So I stopped and she asked the chief Bedouin why they are on horseback and the women are walking. His answer was very natural and extremely Logical and the feminist shut up and had to reconsider a lot. He answered by asking a question. «Who will defend us if we are under attack?" We will ride towards the enemy to keep him from the women"
Now they live in cities like Cairo with 17 million people crowded in a small area following rules laid out for nomadic folk. The sad thing for Islam is that there is no secular power to counter this sad state of affairs.

You are generalising. Come to Malaysia, singapore or Indonesia; you can see the women go to work like the men.
Please relate any of your hatefilled raging Islamic mob in the countries mentioned above.
This thing in some middle eastern countries which is happening is just their culture.

You have the more developed countries (US for example) who have women available to men at all times, yet they have more gays that in Muslim countries. Check your facts B4 U attack.
The separation is to protect women from men's 'hungry' eyes. If you say this leads to man+man thing, well Islam encouraged marriage to avoid this. Our Prophet told us that if we can afford (marriage is costy) to have a wife, do so, a man's life MUST NOT be wasted in lusting after.... If the man is poor, he should fast a lot. Fasting prevents him from wondering. He also encouraged fathers not to refuse a suitor for their daughters if he is poor.

and i currently live in a middle eastern country. and there are no bombings and violence. the only country that has violence in mid east is Iraq and Palestine.

and the middle east country im in (qatar) has men and women working side by side.

Simple solution you marry when you reach puberty and your wife is the object of your desire and vice versa, rather than perving on other women.

There are far less gay men in the Muslim world, than where this segregation is not present.

Sexual apartheid is ugly, look at all-boys boarding schools for a similar example, but this for Muslim's is for life not just their schooldays , it's weird and it shouldn't be allowed.

In answer to the above reply, San Francisco may have more openly gay men but Islam has large numbers of closetted homosexuals living in real fear. Women are treated as second class.
