No one has the truth and no one ever will. Do not judge each other or each other's beliefs. Go in your separate ways and learn as you will. Do not push people down because you think you are right, because you are not... and your aggressive actions betray you.

kenshao: that was beautiful... I hope that was your own prose.

Storm King: your question about absolutes... I was referring to Truth as an absolute, and no one will ever be able to grasp the Absolute Truth... perhaps I forgot to mention that... that is a key part. Sorry.

Also, my Storm King friend, I do not denounce Judgment, merely the act of judging without foundation to authorize the protocol.

When we detect the impulse to judge another within ourselves, it is the best indicator that deep, down, there is something about ourselves that we are still unwilling to accept.

I don't notice your flaws, unless subconsciously I fear their cousins, nesting withing my own soul. And so, to avoid facing my own flaws, which perplex and even defeat me, I simply attack yours. How convenient!

But when I put the focus back on me, that's when the real transformation can begin.

These are universal truths, ie Kenshao's friend's restatement of Dogen, Dhammapda and Dao Jiao writings..

An even deeper question is, faced with the ringing of the Bell of Karma, do we even 'judge'? In NA, we say "Everything we know is subject to change, especially what we know about the truth."

A true gift is to be able to love people BECAUSE of their faults. This requires a good amount of ego-release...but it is do-able. As Dogen warned...our attachments to what we have/know are as dangerous as our desires to learn and obtain..

This way, as we judge, we release ego....

Yes. Its true that we should not judge others.
But when we know something is truth, its good to tell it right, so that another person is also benefited.
Though I was unaware and was not able to believe others sometimes that God is there, now I really know that God is there. No one forced me into in. God is awesome, the great He is and so loving. If u really call onto Him and get to know Him then you will be surprised as I am.
Jesus came from God, He taught how to please God. We please everybody around us, what is wrong is doing according to the desires of our creator which is the best way of life.
1 "Do not judge others, so that God will not judge you, 2 for God will judge you in the same way you judge others, and he will apply to you the same rules you apply to others.- said by Jesus

Ten thousand paths may lead to god, what right is mine to say that he who fails to walk with me has missed the only way?

What right have I to irrigate such grass of finite mind and boast others vainly seek the god I seek?

How would the god I love and trust point out to only me, the way all men travel must or die eternally?

I'm not so wise that he denies the light to all save me while others hear him.

I'm not so wise that he denies the light to all save me while other hearts as true as mine he loves to a lesser degree.

So if the path we tread should lead to bright cathedrals rise or weathered shrine or rustic monistary point upwards to the skies.

Each sincere traveller shall arrive, where lights of welcome shine and millions will be there, who walked, a different path than mine.

"Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you. Why do you see the speck that is in your brother's eye, but do not notice the log that is in your own eye? Or how can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when there is the log in your own eye?" Matt. 7:1-4

So refutation of someone's erroneous understanding of a matter is being judgemental? "No one has the truth and no one ever will"- is that absolute? Because if it is, I guess there's nothing of truth in any of what you've written. Thanks for the 2 points, though.
