No, of course not. Whether a particular marriage works is completely up to the couple. Whether the favors came from a called off wedding in no way influences it.

If she's offering them at a good price then the only person with bad luck will be the superstitious fool that doesn't buy the cast offs!
My brother once found a $5 bill (big bucks back in the 1960's) in the local toy store aisle one Friday the 13th. While it was bad for the kid that lost the money, it was good for us! I've never feared Friday the 13th since.
My point is, good and bad things happen, regardless. It may be bad for someone but good for someone else! Why miss out on a bargain just because of superstition?
Do you know that 666 is considered GOOD luck in many Asian cultures? Again, what is bad for one is good for another. Doesn't the contradiction prove how silly superstitions are? Go and buy the cast offs! You'll need the money for the other wedding things!
Good luck!

I wouldnt worry about it too much your marriage will be what you make it and wont have anything to do with any bad luck curses etc..
People buy second hand wedding dresses all the time you have to think why those dresses are been sold, probably because that persons marriage has ended, I dont think these dresses hold bad luck though.
Put it this way remember Princess Diana's gorgeoues wedding dress would you wear that if you had the chance even though she divorced and is now dead,
I would bad luck or not
Good luck on your big day xxx

There is not such a thing as bad luck unless you are superstitious. It's what's in your mind that makes things happen. If you feel this is unlucky you will blame the slightest hitch to the wedding (almost all wedding have some hitches) on having bought these. If it doesn't bother you all will be fine.

Superstitious is all in the mind. So long as you are comfortable and within your budget, go ahead! Who knows, you may bring good luck to her instead.

My friend from yahoo answers is sending me her wedding dress she never used and I am so thrilled so I know there is nothing wrong with it as long as you live your married life and are loyal to your hubby and make life work out between you both

Only if you are superstitious! If not then no! If you are then you can guarantee that anything that does go wrong you will blame on the fact that you bought them! So touch wood you are not superstitious! lol Go get em before someone else does!

No... I fact you could argue that this is good luck as these will probably be cheaper than if you bought them retail, which in my book is a pretty lucky break.

You make your own luck in this world, so no, it's not bad luck at all, it's being practical and economic, no point in things being wasted is there?

No! What difference does it make if you buy them from her or from the store..... I believe you make your own luck.....plus you can save some money.....The rhyme goes
Something old, something new
Something borrowed, something blue......
Nothing there states where or how to get it....Plus everyone benefits ..... she makes some money and you save some.... plus you said you liked them...... Go for it.....
