Many people here have said that Christians have started wars and many fights, so what about the atheists, have they not helped?
If they have helped how can you say Christians started wars, when both did?

So am I wrong or right?

Every single race, culture, religion, etc has had their fair share. To pin it one just one or just that group is insane, because it is impossible. You know my stance, sweet friend in God, and you know that I stand up for people everywhere. If people just cared to learn, not just from biased sources, but from all sources, and got their conclusions from there, there would be much less ignorance. And I never said that one group has started this or that. Each has had blood shed, but those causing it were doing it for their own agenda. God does not reward evil doers, and that's what they were doing--evil. I hope you get the answers you're looking for. BTW, love that picture. If you want some more pictures of angels, let me know. I have plenty.

It is all in the banner. True there are no wars that have been stated in the name of an atheist banner. "In the name Gravity we invade you" True. But also very true is "in the name of Jesus" we proclaim the 1st the 2nd and the 3rd crusade. "In the name of Jesus" we wipe out all the native Americans both in the north and especially in the south where Jesuits blossomed. Jesus was on the side of Jean D'Arc and in the name of Jesus they burned her to the stake. Do you have any concept of what it would mean to be an open atheist at the time. You would burn at the stake in a split second.
I'm thankful that I live in these times where the power of the church is broken and we can all sit here and banter not being afraid to say you are an atheist or a Jew or a Muslim because you are facing certain and extremely painful death.
So what is your problem atheist are part of humanity and some participate in wars for all sorts of different and personal reasons. But you will not find an atheist banner. By the way armies are made up of able bodied people. The US armed forces are not made up of only Christians. So you basically have no point.

A true Christian (a believer who follows the teachings and ways of Jesus Christ) does not start any war or cause any violence unto another person. Any person calling themselves a Christian and causes violence is not following what his Lord and Savior wants. A true Christian must ask: WDJD – WHAT DID JESUS DO???

Jesus said: “You have heard that it was said, 'Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.' But I tell you: Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you (and who hurts you), that you may be sons of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous (you are not the judge, God is the judge of all). If you love those who (only) love you, what reward will you get in that? Are not even the tax collectors doing that? And if you greet only your brothers (only those who love you), what are you doing more than others (total strangers)? Do not even evildoers do that? Be perfect, therefore, as your heavenly Father is perfect.” – Matthew 5:43-48

Jesus also said: "You have heard that it was said, 'Eye for eye, and tooth for tooth.' But I tell you, Do not resist an evil person. If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also. And if someone wants to sue you and take your tunic, let him have your cloak as well. If someone forces you to go one mile, go with him two miles. Give to the one who asks you, and do not turn away from the one who wants to borrow from you (Forgive all others and act kind to them). – Matthew 5:38-42

Jesus said: "Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn others, and you will not be condemned. Forgive others, and you will be forgiven.” - Luke 6:37

"Put your sword back in its place," Jesus said to him (Peter), "for all who draw the sword will die by the sword. - Matthew 26:52

"For God so loved all the people of the world that he sent his one and only son so that who ever shall believe in him shall not perish but have have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him." - John 3:16 & 17

The atheists in the Soviet Union invaded a lot of countries. So I wouldn't say that they helped, I would say that atheists have started wars. This argument that religion causes all war doesn't hold any water. People are evil and envious, that's what causes war.

yes there have been wars caused by religous fervor, but not all wars, and yes many non christians have started wars as well. remember that christianity is only about 2000 years old so all the wars before that was due to another cause or reason.

When did an atheist start a war?

Arguments, maybe, based on scientific fact and actual thought, but not a war.

Well lets see. Hitler wasn't a Christian, he was into the occult. WWI wasn't about religion. Attila the Hun wasn't Christian and I'm sure his wars were not about his religion.

As a historical fact that is so often overlooked, the Crusades started because there was a plea from Istanbul for help because the Muslims were invading so they didn't start that but responded to a plea for help. That little goodie gets over looked when people are trying to blame Christians for all the wars.

"Let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah and to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will instruct us about his ways, and we will walk in his paths.” For out of Zion law will go forth, and the word of Jehovah out of Jerusalem. And he will certainly render judgment among many peoples, and set matters straight respecting mighty nations far away. And they will have to beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning shears. THEY WILL NOT LIFT UP SWORD, nation against nation, NEITHER WILL THEY LEARN WAR anymore.' --Micah 4:2,3

The only kind of war that True Christians fight, is spiritual.

"Fight the fine fight of the faith." --1 Timothy 6:12
