So I've taken a tablet of Ambien CR 6.25 mg, Melatonin 3mg, and Ibuprofen 200mg. I've been AWAKE all night long for 6 hours straight. This is different from most nights because I previously could fall asleep fine but just wake up through the night. Ambien CR seems to have the opposite effect on me. Anyone know what the deal is?

Don't know why you can't sleep, but maybe you will find this helpful:
On March 14, 2007, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) demanded that Sanofi Aventis, the manufacturer of Ambien, a sedative-hypnotic drug toughen its product labeling to include harder language concerning potential risks. If you are used to taking other types of sleeping pills, such as benzos (Xanax, Lorezapam, Valium, etc.) for sleeping, then of course Ambien will have no effect and you won't be able to get to sleep. Benzos are physically addictive and when taken regularly for sleep, you will have withdrawal (abstinence) reactions when trying to get off them or replace them with different type of sleep aids.
