we were together for a year and now its over. i cant get her out of my head shes like all i think about. she left me an email today clearing the air she said for me not to doubt she ever loved me its just that she couldnt handle all our problems anymore so she had to leave. when i stop missing her so much?

when your realize you had too many problems to handle,,,you just move on,,,meet someone new,,,,then you will stop....

If she was your first girlfriend or if she was the most serious girlfriend that you ever had then it can take anywhere from a few weeks to a few months or even longer.
If you have had other girlfriends before or you have had other girlfriends before that were that serious then it probably won't take you as long.
One of the ways to make the pain more intense and last longer is to think only about her and what you have lost.
One of the ways to get over her sooner is to immerse yourself in lots of activities. Keep yourself very busy and you will have less time to feel sorry for yourself.

Wow...I've been right where you are. I think we all have. First, KNOW that this pain will fade. It is not going to be easy or fast. But, the best thing to do is stay busy. It's easy to lay in the bed, cry, wach TV and feel sorry for ourselves. But, the person for you is out there. You will find them. Everything happens for a reason and this may be someone up above making room for the best thing that ever happen to you. Keep your head up high...THIS TOO SHALL PASS-I promise.
