I enlisted in the Marine Corps Reserves early in 2004. I've served about 3 years of very honorable service, No drugs, 1st class PFT, Expert Rifleman, meritorious promotions, volunteer for Katrina, etc. I am 21 years old, have a great job which enabled me to buy my first house, buy me a nice truck, and my new wife a new car. I am also a Volunteer Firefighter... My point is Im not a scumbag in any way. My unit is very unresponsible, always trying to screw things up, dont care about anything, and just party all the time. That is not me in any way and I just do not fit with these guys. I want out, and want out now.

I was told the past drill I had a UA from last year that I never made up, which I take as meaning that if that happens you have an unsatisfactory year which leads to an Other than Honorable Discharge- Im not sure tho. I told my Gunny I might as well just walk out if I get the same discharge as I will get at the end of my contract.
Is there any way I can a General Discharge?

why don't you just make up the drill you missed and stop worrying about it?

Sounds like a SJA question. SJA (JAG) knows the various ins and outs of this type of situation. Ensure that you obtain as much supporting documents as you can, then contact the SJA.

Of course, I'm also of the opinion that you could just make up the drill and be done with it..

After you miss a certain number of drills. Your unit will submit you as inactive and recommend you for discharge. You will be moved to IRR staus until you fulfill your contract.
