I was in Dep for the Navy and got out do to some personal things. I am now going into the Air Force 5 months later after Deping out. I was wondering if i would need to retake the MEPS physical. On July 29th it would be one year from when i passed it. My recruiter said he didnt think so. Any idea?? Thanks for the Help. Matt

No you shouldn't have to. Most physicals (military or civilian) are good for 2-5 years.

Provided that the physical is within one year, AND they haven't lost the file, you should not have to retake the physical. If you are going to a different MEPS, ensure that your recruiter notifies the MEPS so that they can pull your file from the original MEPS.

Yes you will. All military branches will give you a summarized to re-evaluate prior to accepting you. They just want to make sure you didn't break any bones or burn any buildings during your absence. However it shouldn't take as long as the initial physical. Good luck with your military service and thank you.
