i have credit cards and ATM cards they all work fine with 4 digit pin code, in fact i never knew they had 5 digit pins. I have had no trouble over here.

Yes 4 digit pins are fine. Some ATMs won't accept a pin with more than 4 digits so if yours has 5 you may want to change it before you travel.

but yes, you can use both 4 and 5 digits. To visit Thailand is not similar to the stoneage.

The pin code is dependent on your bank, so the ATM machine will not matter. It will accept your correct pin code, wherever you are from.
