Why would the Navy advertise a defense against, is it the sizzler. It's a lot like the Exocet isn't it. Supersonic terminal. I guess we'll never know, cause if it succeeds, we be in deep doo doo, and if it is ineffective, we'll never tell.

Nobody really knows. Some in the Pentagon think our current defenses are fine. Some disagree. Some want more money for other defensive projects. Gotta remember that each little project has to fight for their money.
In all honesty, the current carrier battle group doctrine of layered defenses has never been tested in combat.

All the US Military are the best. We have good defenses, if the new elected people in Congress would shut up and let them do their jobs.
