it's a natural human reaction of male and female attraction, i guess. you feel attracted to someone and so you flirt.. something about the mating instinct in all of us and how we look for prospective mates even if we may not be looking for one at the time !!

Why is it ladies when we talk to you your boobs won't stop staring at us?
Who knows why we flirt?Who knows why we do anything we do? Its like that guy said, impulsion, and whether you admit it or not, you wanted to flirt. We flirt, we are humans, and we have needs.This interaction of sorts has been going on for centuries and you cant fight something thats been around that long.

Its because of the scientific principle that opposite poles
attract each other. When both are talking and if they enjoy
talking each other, flirting comes on its own and no one knows who started it first.

I agree with the first 3. I'm just like that. It makes me think i'm a compulsive flirt and I'm not known as one but i guess i am really. i'm obsessed with having people like me for me.

try to be conscious of your non-verbal cues or actions. the guy must have interpreted it in a flirty manner which as a result he may go forward and you tending to be responding in the same way when you didn't intend it somehow. :)
