I'd agree, millions...

I'd love to know how much money Apple is pouring into it's current campaign to inadvertantly diss pc's and windows...

Its not working though, I still think Apple Macs are crap.

Just saying millions, If we think deeply for an ad campaign the major issue is the product should reach the customers, For that you should know how to attract the customers wit in few words or minutes. You should do something differently without just spending a lot of money and time.

You need creative mind.

It depends, normally 5-10% of previous years profit. But some reputed FMCG spends as much as 40%, so that they can reach more people, more over they to project their products to the Customers every day. In FMCG sector Customers are very flexible, they do not adhere to a particular brand for long. They prefers to try all new products, comes in to the market.

The pharmaceutical industry spends something like 3x as much on advertising their medicine than they spend on developing and researching the medicines from what i have heard.

snikers spent 250mil on two guys kissing on superbowl alone...that ad ran one time
