If happiness is a warm puppy.
Relief from a sinus headache is next to Godliness, not cleanliness. I can't even think about cleanliness until I'm rid of the sinus headache.
What are your thoughts?

Oh, I agree. I've had sinus headaches nearly every day for 12 years. Relief from that and the fluid in my ears would be the greatest feeling ever. lol

And yes, I've been to the doctor, he claims that moving to the desert won't even help me, my allergies stem from indoors to outdoors. Oh how it would be to be rid of it, forever. :)

It's well known fact among good pain doctors that 'sinus headaches' aren't always sinus headaches. Patient report of pain in the sinus area, even with drainage, can be a sign of migraine. You need to be evaluated for migraine and given a trial of a 'triptan' (like Imitrex) drug to see if this will help.
Sinus headaches need a thorough eval with CAT scan of the head and sinus , especially if they are chronic and persistant. On very rare occasions the nasal drainage is not from the nose but from brain fluid leaking out through the nose. On equally rare occasions some frontal brain tumors have chronic headache as a symptom. Get it checked out.... Good Luck

Here is my solution, I hope it works for you.

First since I started getting flu shots 8 years ago, I have not a a sinus headache, cold or the flu.

Put a wet hand towel in the Microwave and heat it for 30 to 40 seconds and lay it on your face and the back of your neck.
Repeat as needed. When you heat up the sinus cavity it causes it to thin and drain any mucus. For me it worked great for the many years I needed it.

Good Luck.

I used to suffer from sinus problems and hay fever, and took a polaramine tablet every day of the year to relieve the pain and addle-headedness.
Then I went to a Homeopath and took drops which were specially for me. I took them for about 6 months, but after that I didn't have any hay fever or sinus problems and didn't have to take any tablets.
After about 5 years I had to have a booster, but have been OK since then. That was 14 years ago.
Find a good Homeopath and get treated.
By the way, after a few days of transition, while I was taking the drops I didn't have any symptoms.

A sinus headache is one of the worst things a person can have. I used to suffer from them from time to time. And when it strikes - actually this applies to all kinds of headaches, not just a sinus headache - I can't do anything except sit around and try to deal with the pain. So I can empathise a great deal with what you are going through.

Over the years, I learned to stop blowing my nose. I realised that after I stopped doing this, I rarely get sinus these days.

When your nose is blocked and you are extremely tempted to blow it, please don't. Blowing your nose will make things worse, and if you continue to blow your nose, your sinus will never go away, ever. If mucous starts to run down, just wipe it away with a tissue. Never, ever blow.
