In the Midwest, it usually runs between $5-10,000 depending on how many grafts are needed. If you are completely bald except for the hair around your sides and back, you should expect to pay more than if you still have hair on top that's just thin. You shouldn't need any maintenance, other than haircuts. The hair that is transplanted is harvested from the back of your head, which is an area that isn't genetically prone to balding. So, that means once it's transplanted, it won't fall out. Definitely do your research and go on several consultations so you can make sure you're choosing the best surgeon.
By the way, a shaved head looks hot. Women don't care near as much about hair as men think. Consider saving your money and going on a kick @ss vacation instead.
