Okay, so I've been seeing a guy for three weeks and lately he's seemed a little distant. He came on REALLY strong and always wanted to hang out with me, but now...not as much. Tomorrow night another sorority is throwing a huge party and he asked me if I was invited and I told him one of my sisters invited me, but not really. He just left it at that and took no initiative to invite me there. His response was "Oh". How would you take that? Would you think he didn't want you there or he was just being a guy? I think if he wanted me there he could have invited me to go with him, but I don't want to show up with other people if he doesn't really want me there and I don't really know the girls that are hosting it. Suggestions?

I never lied, I was invited by my sorority sis, but it's a different sorority than the one hosting the party

Sounds like he's not very interested in you. As to why that could be. Who knows maybe he met someone else? All you can do is talk to him. Ask him strait out as to why the change?

First off go and have fun!
to answer the question sounds like he's bored with u!
Maybe u just aren't his type but he has nothing better
in line so that's why he isn't inviting u to the party so
he can find something else. Or his friends are there and
he wants to let loose and not be judged by u!

First of all, quit lying to him. He may have wanted to ask you. Now you will never know.

Honestly, it does appear that he may be seeing other people. Ask him if he wants to continue seeing you, or would he like to be able to see others. If he asks why, tell him that it is because he has not been spending very much time with you. One way or another, you won't be wasting your time, and you will get out of the situation with dignity if necessary.

i would play hard-to-get and not go to the party. This will make him miss you and wish you were there. He'll look you up after if he's really interested.

You lied to him and now you want us to figure out what he means when he says...
What did you mean when you lied!
If he asked me ...what did she mean by I was invited by my sister...I'd say it means she doesn't want to go with YOU dude!
You can't lie to him then run counter~surveillance on him. Just tell him you'd like to go there with him.
AND stop lying!

How about refusing the offer by telling him the truth? If he "likes" you, he will take you out again sometime.

I would bet money he's seeing someone else. Not trying to be harsh, but men can sometimes be too simple.
