You can't, he is still a puppy and does not have full control over his body yet. Once he become more secure in his surroundings this should stop. Have you ever laughed so hard you almost peed your pants??? Same thing.....

Keep the excitement level down. when you greet your puppy, Don't talk in high pitched voice or talk baby talk.
Go about your business and when the pup has settled down, then call him to you..Don't stand over the puppy, but approach him at a lower level.
Puppies will usually out-grow this, as they begin to develop bladder control. The absolute worse thing you can do is to scold him for it, as it is nothing he can control, and will only make the matter worse.

Young pups are not completely developed neuromuscularly. If they have excitable personalities they will often suffer from this. Generally, any exciting stimulus can trigger excitement urination. Typically, affected pups outgrow this reflexive behavior.

My Rott/Shepard did the same thing when she was young and someone would stop over and visit.. What we finally did when someone came over.. We made sure they stayed outside until the dog greeted them outside, before they enter our house. She got over it not too long afterwards..

Just by tone show your displeasure when the pup will relate between the two. This includes to stop petting and saying no or bad dog

nothing to worry though!

is dog's way of Submission. means you're the LEADER and is good. maybe you have to start to play with him more and let him know you're more than just leader, and a good friend.
