You will be in-charge of counting, maintaining, handling, storing, and distribution of all the ammunition that your unit has at it's disposal. You will also have all the other duty's as all other soldiers have such as going to formations, keeping physically fit, etc. You will also spend allot of time at firing ranges, making sure all the ammunition is used, and giving ammunition to the soldiers firing at the firing range, and disposing of all unused or unsafe rounds (Rounds are ammunition) so it is safe (bullets, missiles, etc. that didn't go off like it was suppose too.)
Good luck, and keep your head down at the firing ranges.

Hmmm I don't know, but the Air Force seems to fancier names on their jobs. Like what we nick named BB loader had a big long name (sort of like the Sanitation Engineer idea). I personally was in Avionics Aerospace Ground Equipment Specialist. Plain English, electronic technician fixing the testers for the equipment that came off of the plane.
BB loader (bomb loader).
Rough guess at ammo tech? Well I guess that depends on if you are thinking about small ammo or large ammo. ;-)

You will have to talk softly, walk softly, not carry any metal objects, and not carry any lighters or matches. You will learn attention to detail very fast. You will learn that being clumsy is being dead. Safety is number one at all times.
Thanks for your service !
