Like that commercial, with the cartooned woman and the stick for a husband. How can we, women, eat the same as men, drink the same, exercise the same, yet lose NOTHING? And it seems to fall off of men? Can someone explain so I can get my fat butt back to the gym?

i think it's because it's easier for men to build muscles with all their testosterone, which means they burn more calories on a daily basis than women, which means they get to eat more and still lose/maintain weight.

Plus I think it's natural for women to be fatter because of our hormones...and something about preparing us for having a baby.

Because men and women have entirely different metabolism and body mass. With bigger body mass and faster metabolism loosing weigh is easier.
That is why men loose it faster and easier.
The mother Nature programmed females to gain fat, so her fetus and offspring could survive even during the famine.
Men however are designed to be "lean and mean" running after the females to impregnate as many as possible.
Because Mother Nature does not care about the survival of an individual, but the whole species.
And arguing with Mother Nature is kinda hard...

Women have more "fat producing" hormones and less muscle mass than men. Muscle burns calories.

Women are designed to store fat for the obvious reason of pregnancy and nursing. Fat is the most efficient way to store calories. Another interesting thing is, most women put on fat around the hips and butt while men tend to store the bulk of it around the abdomen, which carries significantly more risk to the man's health.

So in short, women are designed to retain fat.

Men have more muscle and muscle burns fat. Also heredity. If you look at primitive cultures when food becomes scarce men eat first and then women. So the women who survived these famines had genes for storing fat. And the ones that couldn't store and hang onto fat died and were eliminated from the gene pool.
