yes I do believe we are close, but no one knows the day or the hour...and I must correct everyone, The Anti-Christ will be a real person who at first brings world peace and everyone will love him, but his real motive is to seize control over the world

and yes the rapture is Biblical...if you even read it you would know

The sheer fact that most people answer the way they do is proof that we are close. It was said that people will deny God in the last days and so it happens know. A lot of people still beleive but they are fewer by the day. Still the time has not yet come and it would probably take another 50 to 100 years before it all ends. There are some technical developments that shall take place before its done. First, it is said in the Bible that there would be some "talking picture/painting" (is it LCD TV?) and that satan will speak through it. Lets say it can be accomplished already. But then everyone who will not praise devil will die! - says the Bible. This means clearly mind control technics. Someone will push a button and your brain will comand your lungs to not breathe anymore and you will die. How could this be? will you ask and for good reason. Well, you probably already know there are chips that can be implanted to ill people that would monitor their health. Some more advanced technics already deployed are using this chips to administer medicines. In the future they will monitor your health and call an ambulance in case you let's say fall while climbing a mountain and seriously injure yourself. The next step is when they control your organs and how they function. Suppose your have a road accident, that chip would stop some activities in some organs so that your energy and blood can be saved for more important organs thus saving your life. Now someone may just misuse the chip and stop for example your heart from beating. Or lungs from breathing. Or maybe they'll use even more devilish technology to achieve their goals. Anyway it won't take place anytime soon. Not too soon I hope. I really hope I die before it happens :))

Well let's look at the facts. Yes I know Christians HATE the facts.

1. People have been saying the end of the world is comming since about 200 years before Jesus!

2. Jesus said in Matthew 16:28, Mark 9:1, & Luke 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
NOTE: THERE BE SOME STANDING HERE!
REFERING TO PEOPLE THAT WERE ALIVE AT THE TIME THIS WAS SAID! IT DOES NOT SAY THERE WILL BE SOME PEOPLE STANDING HERE!

3. The word Rapture isn't even in the Bible! NOT ONCE!
The places people quote to talk about a rapture give the opposite message. Like 1 Corinthians 15:52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump.
NOTE AT THE LAST TRUMP! NOT ANY MINUTE! A VERY SPECIFIC TIME FRAME!
However it is also written in 1 Corinthians 15:50 flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.
But then again the Kingdom of God is called by Jesus not an external place but an inner one. Luke 17:21 for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you.
HOW CAN THE KINGDOM OF GOD BE WITHIN YOU IF YOU ARE TO GO TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

NONE OF THIS CRAP MAKES ANY SENSE!

The fact that there is strife within and among the churches MAY be one of the signs of the end times.

The folks at Family Radio believe the Final Judgment and Second Coming of Christ will be in the fall of 2011.

For example see the book “Time Has an End” on line at:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_cont.html

This group, whose primary teacher is one Harold Camping, also believes the Church Age has ended in 1988 and believers are to come out of the churches as they are now under the control of malevolent forces now that the Tribulation has begun. According to this group, this is why there is so much strife between and within church groups. Mr. Camping’s interpretations of the bible are highly allegorical, so let the reader beware.

See the book Time Has an End, Ch. 10:
http://www.timehasanend.org/public/en_time_has_an_end_ch10.html

That said, the online audio lectures at Family Radio, are illuminating and worth a listen:
See: http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/echoes/frame/download/download.html

Finally, for the offline version of the Family Radio nightly call in show, where folks ask questions about the bible to Mr. Camping, see:
http://worldwide.familyradio.org/zusa/english/connect/audio_archive/forum/frame/

I am not endorsing Family Radio’s doctrines, but one is able to learn quite a bit by listening to these materials.

Most of what you will read about the end times are pre-millennial views: the view that Christ's return will usher in a future millennium of Messianic rule mentioned in the book of Revelation before the final judgment. The believers of this doctrine also hold to the notion of a Rapture of the righteous beforehand.

Others hold that there will be only one second coming of Christ, at the time of the Final Judgment.

Then there are mixtures involving the views of the seven year tribulation and whether it is happening now, occurs later, etc.

These doctrines all fall under the general heading known as the study of end times, or eschatology.

For explanations of the various eschatological beliefs see: http://www.religioustolerance.org/millenni.htm

I am a Amillennialist. I believe we are currently living in the Millennium and in the Tribulation period. Events described in Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21 and in most of the book of Revelation have already happened. To me the Antichrist is figurative and not a real person. I believe that the Kingdom of God is today present in the world through the presence of the heavenly reign of Christ, the Bible, the Holy Spirit and Christianity. Both good and evil continues in the world until the current Church Age ends suddenly when Christ returns to the sky above the earth. The Rapture follows. The Redeemed are transported to heaven where they will adopt spiritual bodies. The majority of humanity will be sent to Hell at this time for eternal punishment. The world will be abandoned. History is no more.

I believe we are in the last days as the Bibile describes. As far as the anti-Christ goes, Hollywood makes this out as being an actual person, but the Bible discusses the anti-Christ as being more of a line of thinking and actions that are against Christ's teachings. I wish I could find all the scriptures for you, hopefully someone on here would include some or maybe these words will lead you to do some research on your own. Take care.

When we look back in history there are frequent references to the imminence of the Rapture and Armageddon. There are references dating back to the days of the Muslim invasion of Europe and Charles Martel.

At the end of the first millenium AD there were again monastic preachers eagerly anticipating the Day. After the fall of Byzantium, and again after Nicopolis the Patriarchs anticipated the Coming in their lifetimes.

Are we getting my drift? These are historic records still in existence, and they all say the same as you are. Who told you this? Why should they be the first prophet in two thousand years to get it right?

You believe what you want. Nothing will happen that isn't going to happen anyway, and lots of other people have been equally optimistic. You have company.

Yes. I don't necessarily believe that things will happen tommorrow, though. Wars have been going on throughout history, as have all the other things (though they are increasing). I'm not certain at what point the Lord will intervene. Still, I would say withing the next 100 years, though of course I have no idea (they've thought this since the first coming of Christ).

For thousands of years they have been saying that "The End is Near". But we are all still hear and you will be here year after year. The two biggest threats appear to be Global Warming or religious radicals who are telling us to convert or they will use an Islamic Bomb. Imagine if the Anti Christ is some other religion. Who would have thought? But, don't worry, your grandchildren will see their grandchildren.

Daily the book of Revelations is literally being fulfilled in the headlines of newspapers, on TV, on radio, and the Internet. Whether we are living in the End Times is a question only GOD can answer for sure. HE did however give us signs to watch for and when we see them we are to be prepared and doing HIS work. So I am paid up, packed up, looking up, and going up one of these days. This site is a perfect place to witness for HIM. I encourage every believer to use this site for the golden opportunity to reach the many who are looking for GOD. Sometimes we get bashed but oh well it is for the Kingdom and anything we can do to bring lost souls to Christ we need to do. GOD Bless you. See you at the HOUSE

look to the nation of israel. when there is finally peace in that area for seven years, be prepared for one of the final battles just before the rapture. the antichrist will be revealed just before we meet our lord in the sky. at that point the tru beleivers will be sepparated from the false and the rest of the world. look to that day and do your task even up until that moment. i look forward to meeting you and all my brothers and sisters in Christ on that day.

for all those who say our grandchildren will see their grandchildren, i will hold you to that bet. i say that we will be lucky igf we see our grandchildren before the rapture happens. i have pitty on those left behind.
