dear, the ans.to this question lies within yr heart only,if u have courage go there, since this is the real source of truth and every knowledge.secondly psychology of the crowd is always wrong, this subject relates to self experience, saint is that who is full of bliss, vibrations ,aura, elfa waves--whose mere sight takes u to yr inner journey,he is fearless, kind, full of love, though non attached to anything i.e;all the properties which god have r there in the saint, but dear they r very rare,so better go within and discover it

Our modern day religious leaders live off hype and on the earnings of rich disciples. These gurus who spout religion at the drop of a hat are egoists. A real ascetic does not stay in air-conditioned comfort, hold press conferences and drive about in swanky cars. They seek God in solitude away from creature comforts. The new gurus survive on brand image that they create or have PR firms create. These are hypocrites that survive on our gullibility. Some charge fees for camps and courses, have powerful politicians and the rich and famous as their followers. We are swayed by the hype, thinking maybe they are a good thing. You do not need these gurus. You are your own salvation. Just introspect. Try to get rid of your ego (it's difficult, but can be done by ordinary people like us) and you will get along just fine.

Follow Jesus Christ. Admire saints because of the way they handled temptation and the way they lived their lives. plus the love that they gave to Christ and mankind.

Since when did invisible friends help anyone other than to have someone to talk to when lonely? And when I say "someone" I mean ones own imagination.
