Right now the time difference is 3 hours since WA participates in Daylight savings time and HI doesn't. In the fall when Daylight Savings time ends, the time difference will be only 2 hours.

It is definately THREE hours difference
when it is 3 PM in Washington state
it is straight up Noon in the Islands !!!

2 hours...I think...it changes with daylight savings ..its been a few years since I lived in Waikiki. Aloha & Da Kine. :)
